The Gospel of Yiron

The Gospel of Yiron is an uncredited work by Josh Scherrer, produced shortly after he completed the novel 2022: Man of Ashes. Following closely the text of the Gospel of Mark found in the New Standard Revised Version of the Bible, The Gospel of Yiron is a fictionalized account of a previously "unnamed" disciple who never reaches Jesus' inner circle yet provides a unique perspective of the life and teachings of Jesus. In writing the book, Scherrer felt compelled to share the story of a man who might feel much like a Christian does today: yearning to know more about Jesus yet afraid or unwilling to make larger sacrifices necessary to fully know Jesus.
